Eddie Bauer

Two ads from Eddie Bauer’s first national ad campaign. How could we give EB a brand personality distinct from Lands End and L.L. Bean, whose products are similar? We hit upon the idea of connecting EB’s heritage to the American love of nature. We were the first to use photography from National Geographic photographers commercially, which has since proved to be a significant revenue stream for the Society.
